Weigh In Day- 232.6

So I lost 1.4lbs. I finally hit my 10lbs! But at the same time I am upset that it wasn't more. How do you guys get over that feeling of that's a good loss but still upset? And reading all of your blogs and seeing people have lost 50-60 pounds that seems like a year away i just wanna cry Why can't I just weigh in one week and it say -10 lbs? While I totally understand the concept of this being a lifestyle change and I don't plan on ever going back to the way I was eating I just wish I could see the positive benefits sooner.

  1. I felt the same way. I kept moving forward... the pounds kept coming off... now I'm at 74 pounds lost and its hard to remember the beginning. I know that you just need to suffer through the beginning. It was hard but it was worth.

  2. I have gone on diets countless times and have quit countless times because I wasn't seeing results as fast as I would have liked. Now that I realize this is FOR LIFE, I realize there's no rush. That really helped me get over feelings of disappointment when it came to the scale. I just wrote a post about celebrating our progress... you should check it out, I think it will help :) I'm a new reader, nice to "meet" you! (And congrats on the loss!!!)

  3. I know how you feel. It's hard to not feel like this is taking forever sometimes. But it's definitely one of those things that takes time...and as you start to see the results, it becomes so worth the wait.

I've only lost 11 pounds so far, but I can already see my face looks slimmer & my back doesn't seem to have rolls. Look for some NSVs too...they definitely help the journey feel like it's going quicker!!

Congrats on the loss!! Keep up the good work!!
